What does Public Relations mean?

We are often asked what PR actually means. What is it that we do? What happens at a luxury PR agency? What makes a good PR agency? What are the benefits of a boutique PR agency?

We understand the confusion. What we do at The Grace Agency is a combination of various different things including gaining coverage in important magazines alongside networking, social media, events and digital marketing but most importantly our job is to make sure your brand is represented in the best possible way.

PR is about reputation - the result of what you do, what you say and what others say about you. Public Relations is the discipline which looks after reputation, with the aim of earning understanding and support and influencing opinion and behaviour. It is the planned and sustained effort to establish and maintain goodwill and mutual understanding between an organisation and its publics” Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

At The Grace Agency we describe ourselves as a boutique PR agency, meaning we work with small to medium sized brands, and we are a similar size. We work in the luxury sector, with brands who want to be visible to a higher end audience, whether it be young professionals with a certain disposable income, or high net worth individuals, we can pin point our campaigns to make sure you’re being seen by the right people.

We offer a much more personal service. We care about our clients and we want to make sure they are receiving the best possible service.

A good PR agency is one you hear from often. We work on a very open line of communication, we speak to our clients throughout the month, not just at the end of the month in the form of a long and wordy report. We want our clients to have access to exactly what we are doing. PR shouldn’t be a mystery, it should be about you receiving as much coverage as possible in the best possible media that will lead to the best return on investment - which is what we aim to do at The Grace Agency.
